DFSpro Portfolio

Where your company is on this journey?

The DFSpro portfolio is not a list of services. It is the map of a tax stabilization journey, with six real stages, from the first sign of risk to operation under continuous governance.

Each stage has a different goal, and DFSpro works differently in each one. Before you decide which service to buy, first find out which of these six stages your operation is in today.

The short answer

The portfolio is a map of six stages, from the first sign of risk to continuous governance, not a list of services. The SAP Tax Diagnostic finds your company's stage. After it come prioritization, a focused project, stabilization with AMS Fiscal and continuous governance.

Stage 1 of 6

Risk / Change

At this stage, the company is not yet looking for a supplier. It is reacting to a real trigger:

1

The tax close is often late or gets stuck.

2

There is constant rework between the Tax, IT and Accounting teams.

3

A tax audit is coming up or has already become a routine.

4

The tax reform (CBS andIBS, Brazil's new consumption taxes) is putting pressure on a structure that was not built for it.

5

The current consultancy has become too slow, too distant or too bureaucratic for the pace of the operation.

6

The IT team is overloaded solving Tax problems that should never reach it.

7

An ERP migration (SAP ECC to S/4HANA) is on the radar, but there is no plan yet.

8

The GUEPARDO Tax was implemented, but it was never set up with the rigor the operation requires.

None of these signs, on its own, means that something has already broken. They mean the operation is more exposed than it should be, and the sensible next step is to measure that risk before it becomes a crisis.

Stage 2 of 6

Diagnostic

At this stage, the company already accepts that there is a relevant tax or SAP problem, but it does not yet know the real size, the root cause or what to do about it.

The SAP Tax Diagnostic is the service that answers that question before any project decision. A senior team runs it over about 8 weeks, and it produces a prioritized risk map, not a sales proposal.

A real diagnostic does not assume the solution before it understands the problem. That is why it is the first low-risk contact between a company and DFSpro: it is not a project commitment, it is a purchase of clarity.

See the SAP Tax Diagnostic page

Stage 3 of 6

Prioritization and Architecture

After the diagnostic, the question changes: what to tackle first, and with what technical architecture.

This is not a separate service for sale. It is how DFSpro works in every later stage: turning the prioritized risk map into a concrete decision roadmap, based on the company's real SAP and GUEPARDO Tax architecture, whether it is ECC or S/4HANA.

The result of this step points to one of two paths:

Acute technical findingFocused Project

Goes on to Stage 4.

→
Structural or operational findingStabilization or Continuous Governance

Goes straight to Stages 5 and 6.

Stage 4 of 6

Focused Project

At this stage, the company already knows what needs to be solved in a concentrated way. It is no longer a vague doubt or an open assessment. It is a project with a defined technical scope.

Migration from ECC to S/4HANA

When the SAP version change needs specific attention to the tax architecture and to the risks a migration brings, so that the tax operation does not go backwards during the transition.

See S/4HANA Migration

Governance of GUEPARDO Tax

When fixing the setup is the concentrated problem, either because the tool was never tuned with rigor, or because a tax rule was left without a clear owner.

See GUEPARDO Tax Governance

Tax Reform (CBS and IBS)

When adapting the system to the regulatory change is the trigger behind the project, and the company decides to act before the real transition deadline catches it unprepared.

See Tax Reform (CBS and IBS)

Stage 5 of 6

Stabilization

The technical project is over, but the operation has not yet proven it is stable under real use. This is the moment of highest risk that the problem comes back, if the follow-up is withdrawn too early.

The AMS Fiscal Advisory, in its initial phase, works exactly here: intensive follow-up right after a Focused Project ends, whether it was a migration, a setup fix or a regulatory adaptation, with a dedicated assisted period for this critical stretch.

i

The difference between this stage and the next is not the service, it is the intensity. Stabilization is temporary and high-attention. Continuous Governance is the permanent state of an operation that has already proven it is stable.

See AMS Fiscal Stabilization

Stage 6 of 6

Continuous governance

At this stage, the company is no longer solving a crisis. It is running steadily and wants to keep it that way, with monitoring of future risks before they become a crisis again. This is the state that Stage 1 was trying to prevent.

AMS Fiscal Advisory in maintenance mode

Direct contact with the responsible technical manager, with no helpdesk, no ticket queue and no team rotation.

Continuous monitoring of tax and regulatory changes

Follow-up of new legal requirements, new SAP versions and new GUEPARDO Tax modules, before those changes put the operation at risk again.

See AMS Fiscal Advisory, Continuous Governance

About the cycle

The cycle can restart, and that is not a problem

A client in Continuous Governance can be taken back to Stage 1 when a new outside trigger appears: the tax reform enters a new phase, the company makes an acquisition and inherits a different SAP environment, or it decides to migrate from ECC to S/4HANA years after it was already stable.

This does not mean something went wrong in the relationship. It means the business changed, and the tax stabilization journey responds to real changes, not to a single closed project. This long-term follow-up is exactly what Continuous Governance exists to sustain.

Procurement

For whoever runs the contracting process

If your role in the company is to evaluate and approve the buying process, here is the direct structure:

No closed commercial proposal happens without a structured Tax Diagnostic before it. Price and scope are not up for negotiation at this phase, because the real scope of the next project is only defined by what the diagnostic reveals.

The pricing model varies with the line of work hired (Diagnostic, Stabilization Project, AMS, Migration). Specific investment ranges are not published at the moment; they are discussed directly during the commercial process.

If your company's buying process requires a specific or unusual contract format, raising it directly with the DFSpro team before any formal approval is the fastest way.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about the portfolio model

01Do I need to go through the Diagnostic before hiring any other service?+

In most cases, yes. The Diagnostic exists precisely to stop a project from attacking the wrong symptom. If your company already has a recent, documented, equivalent assessment, talk to the DFSpro team to find out whether this step can be adapted to your case.

02Is this a closed package or modular?+

It is modular. Each stage matches a real moment in the operation, not a mandatory item in a package. A company can enter straight at Stage 4 (Focused Project) if it already has an equivalent diagnostic, or stay only in Continuous Governance if the operation is already stable.

03What happens if my company is in more than one stage at the same time?+

That is common. An operation can be in Continuous Governance for most of its tax scope and, at the same time, face a specific Focused Project related to the tax reform. The journey describes the state of each front, not a single state for the whole company.

04Does going back to Stage 1 after years of stability mean something failed?+

No. It means a new business trigger appeared: a regulatory change, an acquisition, a system migration. See "The cycle can restart" above.

05How long does the Diagnostic take?+

The Diagnostic takes 5 to 8 weeks, always run by a senior team. The exact time varies with the complexity of the environment (number of CNPJs, or company tax IDs, SAP version, scope of tax obligations) and is confirmed right at the start of the work.

06Can I hire only the Diagnostic and stop there?+

Yes. The Diagnostic is a closed step in itself: it delivers the prioritized risk map, and the decision to move on to any project is yours. It is deliberately low risk, a purchase of clarity, not a project commitment.

07Do you publish a price range?+

No. The pricing model varies with the line of work hired (Diagnostic, Stabilization Project, AMS, Migration), and the ranges are discussed directly during the commercial process, always after the diagnostic, because the real scope depends on what it reveals.

08How does the process work for Procurement and Purchasing?+

The structured Tax Diagnostic always happens before any closed commercial proposal. There is no negotiation of price or scope before it. If the buying process requires a specific or unusual contract format, raising it directly with the team before any formal approval is the fastest way.

09Do I have to be on S/4HANA already to start?+

No. The journey serves both ECC and S/4HANA environments. Migration is only one of the possible Focused Projects (Stage 4), triggered when it makes sense for your case, not a prerequisite for entering the journey.

10What is the difference between Stabilization and Continuous Governance?+

The intensity, not the service. Stabilization (Stage 5) is intensive, temporary follow-up right after a project. Continuous Governance (Stage 6) is the permanent, normal-pace state of an operation that has already proven it is stable.

Next step

Not sure exactly where your company is on this journey?

That is normal, and it is exactly why the SAP Tax Diagnostic exists: a structured assessment that finds the real problem before any investment decision. The most common cases are in the problem index.
