Is it for you?

We are not for everyone, and that is on purpose.

DFSpro works with a specific kind of company and a specific kind of need. Saying so clearly saves time for you and for us. Telling you who we do not fit is a sign of method, not of generic talk. Check here, in a few minutes and without a sales call, whether your case fits this profile.

The direct answer

DFSpro serves companies that run SAP, ECC or S/4HANA, as their core ERP and have a complex tax operation. There is no fixed minimum revenue: the fit is confirmed in the Diagnostic. This page gives the criteria by decision role and what to do if there is no fit today. The starting point is our focus on tax in SAP, which our depth in GUEPARDO Tax confirms.

Fit criteria

Where we have a proven method, and where we do not serve well today

No single sign decides the fit alone. The combination is what matters.

The profile where we have a proven method

  • SAP as the core ERP of the company (ECC or S/4HANA), not a secondary ERP.
  • Complex tax operation: many reporting obligations, tax calculation that is not simple, frequent exposure to regulatory change.
  • Several companies or branches: operation in several states or with several CNPJ numbers (company tax IDs).
  • Dependence between Tax, IT and partners in the tax close, not a process that belongs to one area alone.
  • An active change context: migration from ECC to S/4HANA, pressure from the tax reform, a recent GUEPARDO Tax go-live or stabilization after a project.
  • Senior decision maker within reach: a sponsor with real decision power (CFO, Tax Director or CIO).
  • Recognition that a structured diagnostic is needed before any proposal, and not only "more people" on the team.
  • Compatible size: a complex tax operation, with real volume and regulatory exposure.
  • A critical trigger: a tax close that keeps stalling, rework between Tax and IT, an audit coming soon, pressure from the reform, a large consultancy that gives no answer, or a side spreadsheet that has become a critical system.

The profile we do not serve well today

This is not a judgment of the quality of your company. It is an honest line around where our method has real depth today.

  • Companies without SAP and with no plan to adopt SAP. If you are considering a move to SAP, talk to us: implementation is also within DFSpro scope.
  • Low-complexity operational demand: few obligations, a single CNPJ, no relevant regulatory exposure.
  • An expectation of mass outsourcing that takes over the whole operation without a diagnostic and governance.
  • A need for one-off temporary staff to cover a headcount gap.
  • No senior decision maker within reach on the client side.

By decision role

A clear criterion for each role in the decision

Each role in the decision has its own clear criterion. If your role is below, check whether the signs described match your situation.

For the CFO or Finance Director

Three signs together: a complex tax operation, with real volume and regulatory exposure; an investment model structured in phases (diagnostic, solution, continuous governance); and real urgency (a tax close that keeps stalling, tax risk not yet mapped, pressure from the reform, or a recent error that exposed the company to an assessment). If all three are present, the natural next step is the diagnostic.

For the CIO or SAP Manager

Three signs together: a real SAP environment (ECC or S/4HANA), stable or in migration; GUEPARDO Tax in use or under evaluation; and a change context that needs stable integrations (a migration under way, repeated instability, or an inherited environment that is poorly documented). If this is your environment, the technical criterion is met.

For Legal and Compliance

Three scope elements together: a defined client scope (a complex tax operation in an SAP environment); an explicit scope boundary (tax governance and setup in SAP, without replacing the formal legal tax opinion); and openness about what is not covered (any specific contractual guarantee must be written in the contract). If size, nature and scope already answer the risk assessment, the process can go ahead.

For Procurement and Purchasing

Three process elements together: a contracting model (a project or a recurring AMS); no large-scale RFP (the DFSpro model does not compete in a quote round with dozens of suppliers at once); and a process sequence (the diagnostic comes before any closed proposal, so the exact investment is clear only after the diagnostic). If this fits your buying process, the way is open.

No fit today

If you do not fit today

Having no fit today is not a final answer. Companies change size, move to a new ERP, face the Tax Reform or change supplier. If your case is in the profile we do not serve, the most useful path now is not the diagnostic form.

Follow the content from DFSpro

DFSpro Radar brings technical content on tax governance in SAP, the Tax Reform and GUEPARDO Tax, and it does not ask you to have a buying decision already made.

Come back when the context changes

If the right trigger appears (a migration to S/4HANA, revenue growth, real pressure from the Tax Reform on your current structure), you can do the self-assessment again.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about eligibility

01Is there a minimum company size to talk to DFSpro?+

There is no fixed minimum revenue. The real criterion is to run SAP as your core ERP and to have a tax operation complex enough to justify dedicated governance. We assess this in the Diagnostic, with your environment in front of us.

02I do not use GUEPARDO Tax yet. Does that rule me out?+

Not necessarily. The criterion for the CIO or SAP Manager includes companies that are evaluating GUEPARDO Tax, not only those that already run it. What matters is a real SAP environment (ECC or S/4HANA) and a change context that justifies the diagnostic.

03I use another ERP, not SAP. Do you serve me?+

We work inside the SAP ecosystem (ECC or S/4HANA). If you are considering SAP, DFSpro also supports the implementation and builds the tax layer from the start. If you decide to stay on another ERP, we are not the right fit.

04I already have a tax consultancy or an SAP integrator. Is that a problem?+

It is not a problem. It is the most common starting point. The fit criterion does not ask for exclusivity. It asks you to see that there is a gap between what your current partner delivers and what the operation needs. The page How we work with your team describes this line of responsibility.

05Do I need an approved budget before I fill in the diagnostic form?+

No. The diagnostic is the step that produces the scope and, from it, the structured investment. What we need is a sponsor with real decision power who follows the process, not a budget approved in advance without a scope.

06I am in a priority sector but have no critical trigger now. Is it worth talking?+

It is worth following. Without an active critical trigger (a tax close that keeps stalling, a migration, pressure from the reform), the diagnostic is usually not yet the most useful next step. In that case, DFSpro Radar keeps you close to the subject until the right moment comes, with no sales call in between.

07Does the diagnostic oblige me to hire the solution afterwards?+

No. The diagnostic is a closed step on its own: it delivers the risk map and the priorities, and the decision to go on to the solution is yours. This is exactly why we make no solution proposal before the diagnostic. The scope comes from what it finds.

08We are migrating to S/4HANA with another integrator. Do you join in?+

Yes, and it is one of the contexts with the best fit. DFSpro acts as the tax specialist layer next to the integrator and covers what is often left outside the integrator scope. The details of who is responsible for what are in Migration from ECC to S/4HANA.

09We have SAP but our tax operation is fairly simple today. Does it still make sense?+

Maybe not now. The model is built for a complex tax operation (many obligations, several CNPJ numbers, regulatory exposure). If your tax operation is simple and stable, the structure DFSpro offers may be more than the operation needs today, and DFSpro prefers to say so rather than force a project.

10How do I know if I have the "senior sponsor" you mention?+

It is someone with a real mandate to approve a diagnostic and, later, a solution: usually the CFO, the Tax Director or the CIO. If the person who is evaluating does not have this mandate and none of these roles follows the process, a structured diagnostic tends to stall for lack of a decision, not for lack of technical fit.

Self-assessment complete

You already have the answer

If you recognized the profile of size, SAP environment, change context and senior sponsor, the next step is to request the diagnostic. If you recognized your case in the profile we do not serve today, the second option is the most useful path now. Neither is final: the context of a company changes, and you can do the self-assessment again.
