SAP tax consulting: tax and SAP in the same team, with the depth of GUEPARDO Tax
We handle tax inside SAP ECC and S/4HANA, with or without GUEPARDO Tax: setup, electronic tax documents, SPED, DRC and TDF, tax reform and AMS Fiscal.
Tax thesis and strategy stay with the client. Our job is to build the scenario, configure it and show, with evidence, that SAP does what the company decided.
SAP tax consulting in one sentence
SAP tax consulting looks after what happens between the law and the posting: the configured rule, the document, the tax calculation, the file delivered and the close. We do this inside SAP, whether the company has GUEPARDO Tax or not. The base is our focus on tax; our depth in GUEPARDO Tax is the proof that it holds up under a demanding tax engine.
What it covers
Calculation and setup, electronic tax documents, SPED and other reporting obligations, tax calculation and reconciliation, the tax reform and support after go-live.
With or without GUEPARDO Tax
DFSpro sells the license as an Authorized Channel of NTT DATA, the owner of the product. Tax work can also be done in the Brazil localization, with DRC, TDF and ACR.
Who decides
The tax thesis and the project strategy belong to the client. On our side are the design, the configuration and the evidence of what the system does.

Your SAP uses GUEPARDO Tax or does not: the consulting works in both cases
The choice of tax solution belongs to the company. What DFSpro brings is the same discipline on any path, with the tax operation under control and the legal updates followed.
SAP with GUEPARDO Tax
We implement the product, set it up, run its governance and handle each release update, with proof that the calculation stays right after it.
SAP without GUEPARDO Tax
The tax layer can also be governed in the native Brazil localization, with an external calculation engine or with DRC, TDF and ACR. The discipline of design, configuration and proof is the same on all three paths.
Calculation in the Brazil localization | How to choose the tax solution
Who implements and runs DRC and TDF on the tax side
Two SAP products and two tax layers, handled from specification to evidence.
SAP DRC: sending and receiving documents
SAP Document and Reporting Compliance covers the sending and receiving of electronic tax documents. SAP set 31/12/2025 as the end of main maintenance for GRC NF-e and points to DRC as the next step.
We enter the tax layer: we build the outgoing and incoming scenario, configure it and check the result with evidence. The installation on BTP stays with the integrator.
SAP TDF: from tax data to SPED
SAP TDF generates the SPED files and the eSocial and EFD-Reinf events from the tax data of the ERP, and the monitor keeps every run until delivery.
We enter the tax part of the project, with tax ABAP when custom work is needed. The general architecture belongs to the integrator.
Who prepares SAP S/4HANA for IBS and CBS
CBS and IBS replace the current model of taxation on goods and services. In 2026 the test year runs, with symbolic rates, and CBS takes full effect in 2027, ending PIS and Cofins. To prepare S/4HANA is to design, configure and test how SAP reacts to this mechanism.
The tax interpretation of each case and cash management remain with the company.
- SAP Notes for the reform: follow, test and prove how they are applied.
- CST and cClassTrib codes of the reform, with search and legal basis.
- Alphanumeric CNPJ: master data, documents and integrations.
- Split payment: what changes in settlement and reconciliation.
- Tax readiness checklist to check your environment.
- Training on the tax reform for your team.
AMS Fiscal for SAP: three phases, each with an exit criterion
The tax environment does not stay stable by itself after go-live. AMS Fiscal is the support that stops silent regression.
Diagnostic
A structured review of the tax environment, with a plan that ranks risk on four levels: Critical, High, Medium and Monitor.
Stabilization
A focused project when the diagnostic points to a concentrated problem, and support for the first real tax close in production.
Continuous governance
Permanent expert support, with monitoring of tax change and upkeep of the setup.
The two forms of AMS Fiscal have their own page: stabilization after go-live and continuous governance.
How to choose an SAP tax consultancy
There is no better consultancy in the abstract. There is the one that proves, in your environment, the solution it promises. Six criteria that tell one from another.
- The two disciplines in the same team: whoever reads the tax rule knows where it lives in SAP.
- The cause of each incident shown with evidence, and not a verbal explanation.
- Knowledge handed over to your team, with the rule documented and with an owner.
- A periodic report that shows what happened in the environment.
- A written method, in which each phase says what must come in and what must be ready to go out.
- Clarity on who decides: the tax thesis belongs to the client, and the consultant's work can be proven.
The support criteria are detailed in how to choose SAP tax support and the reason for the design is in Why DFSpro.
Specialist in GUEPARDO Tax: the depth we bring to every SAP
GUEPARDO Tax is our line of greatest depth, and the method it demands is the same one we apply in SAP environments without the product.
Origin
DFSpro was founded in 2018, in Curitiba. Part of the team comes from FH, which created GUEPARDO Tax and is now NTT DATA Business Solutions.
Authorized Channel
We are SAP partners and an Authorized Channel of NTT DATA, and we implement and govern GUEPARDO Tax.
What this changes
Whoever knows from the inside a tax layer built into SAP reads the tax problem of any environment better: where the rule lives, who maintains it and how to prove it.
For teams that want to operate on their own, there is the SAP Tax Governance Program and the training on GUEPARDO Tax.
Frequently asked questions about SAP tax consulting
01Does DFSpro serve a company that uses SAP without GUEPARDO Tax?+
Yes. DFSpro serves SAP ECC or S/4HANA, with or without GUEPARDO Tax. Without the product, the tax work happens in the Brazil localization, in the calculation engine the company uses or with DRC, TDF and ACR.
02What is the difference between SAP tax consulting and traditional tax consulting?+
SAP tax consulting joins knowledge of the law with knowledge of where each rule lives in the system: calculation schema, master data, documents and files. Tax and SAP need to be in the same team so that the problem does not turn into a hand-off between departments.
03What work does DFSpro do on tax in SAP?+
It diagnoses and ranks risk, sets up the system, handles electronic tax documents and SPED, checks tax calculation and reconciliation, prepares for the reform and supports the environment with AMS Fiscal. Each line of work ends with evidence of what the system does, for the audit and for the operation.
04We already have an SAP integrator. Do we still need a tax consultancy?+
Architecture and infrastructure stay with the integrator. DFSpro takes the tax layer: scenario, configuration and proof. One line of work does not replace the other, and the work fits into the project that is already running.
05We already use GUEPARDO Tax. Does DFSpro help?+
Yes. DFSpro implements, sets up and runs the governance of GUEPARDO Tax, a product of NTT DATA, and handles the release update. If the product was implemented and never set up well, the starting point is an SAP Tax Diagnostic.
06Does DFSpro implement and run DRC and TDF?+
On the tax layer, yes. In DRC, DFSpro designs the sending and receiving scenario, configures it and proves the behavior. In TDF, it works on the flow up to SPED, eSocial and EFD-Reinf, including with tax ABAP. The technical installation stays with the integrator.
07How does DFSpro prepare S/4HANA for IBS and CBS?+
By designing, configuring and testing how SAP reacts to the new taxes: SAP Notes, CST and cClassTrib, alphanumeric CNPJ, split payment and the close. The tax interpretation of each case stays with the client.
08What is AMS Fiscal and when should we hire it?+
It is expert support for the SAP tax environment. In stabilization, it covers the first real tax close after go-live. In continuous governance, it keeps the environment stable over time. The right moment is before the first close in production.
09Who decides the tax thesis during the work?+
The client. Tax regime, thesis, incentives and migration strategy are choices of the company. The differences the system shows go to the person responsible for tax, who approves or corrects.
10How does a project start and where does the scope come from?+
It starts with the Diagnostic, which maps the environment and ranks risk before any proposal. The scope comes from this survey, and not from an off-the-shelf package. To start, describe your scenario on the contact page.
11Does DFSpro serve groups with several CNPJ numbers and plants?+
Yes. The tax rollout brings the group standard to each new CNPJ, state registration, plant or state, and multi-CNPJ governance makes the setup the same across units. Each branch is treated as its own tax unit.
12Who is behind DFSpro?+
A consultancy born in Curitiba, in 2018, an SAP partner and an Authorized Channel of NTT DATA. The team includes people who came from FH, the creator of GUEPARDO Tax.
