DFSpro Program for SAP Tax Governance with GUEPARDO Tax

A path of nine modules, one practical assessment and a completion certificate issued by DFSpro, for people who run, implement or support tax in SAP environments (SAP's enterprise management system, also called ERP) and want to leave able to build governance, not just carry out tasks. GUEPARDO Tax, a tax solution integrated with SAP and a product of NTT DATA, is the reference product of the path.

The prerequisite is experience in SAP tax. Format, schedule and terms are agreed in a direct conversation with DFSpro.

The direct answer

The SAP Tax Governance Program with GUEPARDO Tax is a path of nine modules, with a practical assessment and a completion certificate issued by DFSpro. It is for people who already deal with SAP tax and want method instead of memory. The certificate is not a certification from GUEPARDO Tax, NTT DATA or SAP.

Who it is for

People who already deal with SAP tax and want method instead of memory

The program was designed for people who have already been through a hard tax close inside SAP. It is not an introduction. The path assumes you already know what an invoice, a tax and an ancillary obligation are, and uses that background as its starting point.

Three groups find what they need here. The first is SAP consultants who serve clients in Brazil and need to answer on tax with confidence, without improvising. The second is analysts and managers in the tax, accounting and tax-planning areas of companies that run SAP and depend on one or two people to explain what the system does. The third is IT professionals who maintain the tax rules and fear touching what nobody documented.

Some people use GUEPARDO Tax and some do not yet. For those who do, the path shows how to govern what was implemented. For those who do not, it shows what the product organizes and what remains the company's own work, which helps you decide with open eyes.

The program asks for a willingness to get hands-on with the material: the pace is exercises on scenarios, not watching and taking notes.

Who it is not for

Two portraits: who gets value and who will be frustrated

A training program only serves the people it was made for. This comparison exists so you can decide before spending your time.

The program makes sense if

  • You have experience in SAP tax and want to turn what you know into a method.
  • You want to stop being the only person who understands a rule, or you want to understand a rule that only one colleague understands.
  • You accept being assessed on practical work, not on a multiple-choice test.
  • You need to justify a tax decision in SAP to someone who will ask why.
  • You want a written record of what you studied and demonstrated.

The program does not make sense if

  • You have never worked with tax in SAP and are looking for an introduction to the system.
  • You are looking for a product credential recognized by NTT DATA or SAP.
  • You want a guarantee of a job, a position or a promotion.
  • You expect the program to define your company's tax position.
  • You want a course to listen to, with no exercises and no deliverables.

If you are in the right-hand column at any point, the first conversation can still help you find the right path.

The problem

Six situations the program was built to undo

Tax in an SAP environment rarely breaks all at once. It wears down in layers, and the wear only shows when someone asks the right question. These six situations appear together or separately in many companies.

The knowledge lives in the head of one person

Everyone knows who to ask and nobody knows where it is written. Vacation, leave and resignation become close risks. The program teaches how to turn what the person knows into a record, a test and evidence that someone else can read.

The product is implemented and half used

A tax solution goes live, solves what it was designed to solve, and then nobody reviews it. Exceptions, new branches and new legislation appear. The program shows how to govern a solution that is already installed, instead of waiting for it to maintain itself.

The rule exists and has no owner

Someone created a condition for a customer who has since left the portfolio. It is still there, calculating. When it diverges, nobody has the authority or the context to touch it. The program trains the question that is almost never asked: who answers for this rule?

The evidence is missing when the auditor asks

The company believes the rule is right but cannot prove it. Test, result, approval and date ended up in email, or nowhere. The program provides the record format that survives an audit.

Two tax regimes will coexist in the same system

The tax reform requires SAP to calculate the current regime and the new one during the transition. Anyone who has not organized what exists today will try to add new layers on top of layers they do not even understand. The program dedicates a module to the topic and uses governance as the base.

The team changes and the method does not follow

New people join, the integrator leaves, the partner swaps its team. Each newcomer relearns by trial and error. The program offers a shared language so that newcomers understand the environment in weeks, not years.

The program

What it is and what you will be able to do

The DFSpro Program for SAP Tax Governance with GUEPARDO Tax is a training path in modules, closed by a practical assessment on setup and governance. Those who finish receive a completion certificate issued by DFSpro, with the list of competencies covered.

The program's core is governance: giving each tax rule an owner, evidence and a review date. GUEPARDO Tax is the reference product because it is one of the most common ways to organize tax calculation inside SAP, and because it illustrates well what happens to any solution after go-live.

The path runs through nine modules, from fundamentals to building governance. Each module ends in a work product you take to your own environment, and the practical assessment brings these products together in a complete scenario.

What you take away

Eleven capabilities, in four work areas

When you finish, you will be able to do what the cards below describe. Each capability points to the module where it is trained.

1

Understand the path of a tax

From master data to the obligation, and where each result comes from.

  • Follow the path of a tax in SAP and point out, step by step, where each decision is made and who answers for it.Module 01
  • Classify an unexpected result as an SAP setup problem, a product setup problem or product behavior.Module 02
2

Operate and correct

Rule, master data, document and file, with cause and evidence.

  • Review a tax rule and propose a change with a test script and an evidence record.Module 03
  • Recognize material, customer and vendor master data that feed tax determination errors.Module 03
  • Follow an electronic tax document from the issuer to posting and find where it got stuck.Module 04
  • Trace an ancillary obligation divergence back to its origin in SAP, instead of fixing it in the file.Module 05
3

Prepare for the future

Reform, migration and the first close after the change.

  • Build an impact map of the tax reform on an SAP environment.Module 06
  • Inventory tax rules for a migration and decide the destination of each one with a stated criterion.Module 07
  • Prioritize the incidents of a first close and write the handover note for the next cycle.Module 08
4

Sustain and lead

Governance that lasts and risk conversations with leadership.

  • Build a rule's governance record and a review calendar.Module 09
  • Explain the state of SAP tax to leadership in risk language.Module 09

The path on one screen

Nine modules, each with one work product

The table shows the whole path before the detail. The order is not by chance: modules 1 and 2 give the language, modules 3 to 5 cover what SAP calculates and delivers, modules 6 and 7 look at big changes, module 8 covers routine and module 9 closes with governance.

ModuleTopicWhat the person delivers
01Fundamentals of tax governance in SAPA map of the path of a tax in an operation, with the list of decision points and the owner of each point.
02GUEPARDO Tax inside SAP and what it does not solve aloneA symptom triage table, with the likely origin, the missing evidence and who the question should go to.
03Tax setup and master dataA review of a set of rules with justification, test script and evidence record.
04Electronic tax documentsA diagnostic script for a stuck document, with questions per step and the person responsible for each answer.
05Ancillary obligations and SPEDA reconciliation table with the cause of each divergence and the point in SAP where it should be handled.
06Tax reform: CBS and IBS and the two regimes coexistingAn impact map of the reform on an SAP environment, with adjustment order and owners.
07Migration to S/4HANA and Clean CoreA classified inventory of tax rules for migration, with the decision and criterion for each item.
08Stabilization and continuous operationAn incident prioritization plan and a handover note between cycles.
09Building governance: owner, evidence and reviewA governance package for three rules: records, tests, evidence and calendar.

The number of modules describes the structure of the content. Course hours, format and schedule are agreed in a direct conversation with DFSpro.

The path, modules 1 to 3

From the logic of governance to the rule that calculates the tax

The first three modules form the base. They replace the question "what does the system do?" with "who decided this, where is it proven and when will it be reviewed?".

Understand

Fundamentals of tax governance in SAP

Module 1 of 9

GoalUnderstand why tax in an SAP environment degrades over time even when it was well implemented, and learn the logic that keeps it under control: a rule with an owner, evidence kept, review on a set date.

What you learn
  • The complete path of a tax inside SAP: master data, determination, document, bookkeeping, calculation and obligation delivered. Each step is a place where a rule can be wrong without the next step noticing.
  • The difference between a rule, an exception and a patch, and how to recognize each by reading a real environment.
  • Who is involved (tax, accounting, IT, consulting, audit) and what each one needs to receive to decide well.
  • The governance vocabulary applied to tax: rule owner, evidence, traceability, review cycle and tax technical debt.
Practice

The person receives the description of a common tax operation, an interstate sale with tax substitution, and walks through the path of the tax step by step, marking where each decision is made and by whom.

Student deliverable

A map of the path of a tax in an operation, with the list of decision points and the owner of each point.

Who else it helps

Tax and IT managers who need to see the whole environment before deciding what to review first.

On the page on continuous governance: how tax governance works when it becomes a contracted routine.

Understand

GUEPARDO Tax inside SAP and what it does not solve alone

Module 2 of 9

GoalUnderstand where GUEPARDO Tax, a product of NTT DATA, works in the SAP tax chain, what it delivers on go-live day and which responsibilities remain with the company afterwards.

What you learn
  • Where the solution fits between the SAP document and the obligation delivered, and what leaves SAP standard when it is adopted.
  • How to recognize a Z rule (a custom rule, written for one specific case) inside the environment, and why it is usually the most fragile point.
  • How to separate three origins of an unexpected result: SAP setup, product setup and the behavior of the product itself. Each has a different owner and a different path to a fix.
  • What an implementation leaves ready and what it does not: living documentation, an owner per rule, periodic review and adjustment to legislation changes.
Practice

Given a set of symptoms (a tax calculated too low at one branch, a rejected invoice, a report that does not close), the person classifies each one into one of the three origins and justifies the classification.

Student deliverable

A symptom triage table, with the likely origin, the missing evidence and who the question should go to.

Who else it helps

Consultants who serve clients using the product and tax analysts who run the day-to-day on top of it.

On the page on GUEPARDO Tax: where the product's governance meets DFSpro's work.

Operate

Tax setup and master data

Module 3 of 9

GoalRead, review and change SAP tax rules safely, and understand why wrong master data at the source produces the same error month after month.

What you learn
  • The tax calculation schema (the TAXBRA procedure, which defines the sequence SAP follows to reach the value of each tax) and the conditions maintained in transaction J1BTAX.
  • CFOP determination (the Brazilian fiscal operation code, which classifies the nature of the operation) and reading CST and NCM (the tax situation and the product classification) inside the rule.
  • Material, customer and vendor master data as a source of tax determination: what a badly filled field causes three steps later.
  • How to test a change in a test environment before it reaches production, and how to keep the test evidence.
Practice

The person receives an extract of setup with an inconsistency planted between two branches and a material record with a divergent tax field. They locate the problem, propose the fix and write the test script.

Student deliverable

A review of a set of rules with justification, test script and evidence record.

Who else it helps

Functional consultants in finance, sales and purchasing who touch taxes without being tax specialists.

On the page on tax setup: how DFSpro handles tax setup in a project.

The path, modules 4 to 6

From the document to the file and to the tax reform

Here the focus is what SAP delivers to the outside: documents, obligations and the new regime. This is where a divergence becomes a problem with a deadline.

Operate

Electronic tax documents

Module 4 of 9

GoalFollow an electronic document from issue or capture to posting in SAP, and know how to diagnose where it stops when something goes wrong.

What you learn
  • What changes from one document to another: NF-e (the electronic invoice for goods), NFS-e (for services), CT-e (the electronic transport document) and MDF-e (the electronic manifest of tax documents).
  • Cancellation, correction and acknowledgment events, and the effect of each one on posting in SAP.
  • Automatic document entry: where the data comes from, where reconciliation fails and what to do with a document that finds no purchase order.
  • The role of GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance), the tool many companies use for electronic documents, and SAP's move to DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance), which replaces it.
Practice

The person receives four stuck-document cases, each with its message history. They find at which step each one stopped and describe what must be checked before any fix.

Student deliverable

A diagnostic script for a stuck document, with questions per step and the person responsible for each answer.

Who else it helps

Tax analysts, billing and tax receiving teams, and the IT that maintains the integration.

On the page on electronic tax documents: how electronic documents are handled as a specialty, and the migration from GRC NF-e to DRC.

Operate

Ancillary obligations and SPED

Module 5 of 9

GoalFollow tax data from SAP to the file delivered to the tax authority and find where the divergence starts, instead of fixing in the file what broke at the source.

What you learn
  • SPED (Brazil's digital tax reporting system) in its main parts: EFD ICMS IPI and EFD Contributions (tax bookkeeping), ECD (accounting), ECF (income tax and social contribution) and EFD-Reinf (withholdings).
  • Where each block of the file gets its data in SAP, and which fields tend to be the weak link.
  • Reconciliation between calculation, general ledger and the generated file, in the order that causes the least rework.
  • Basics of the foreign trade tax layer in SAP, such as DUIMP (the Single Import Declaration), and of what it returns to bookkeeping.
Practice

The person receives a divergence report between the calculation and the file and traces, block by block, where each difference came from, separating a source error from a generation error.

Student deliverable

A reconciliation table with the cause of each divergence and the point in SAP where it should be handled.

Who else it helps

Accounting and ancillary obligation teams, and consultants who support the close.

On the page on ancillary obligations: the flow from data to file, handled as a service, and foreign trade in SAP.

Prepare

Tax reform: CBS and IBS and the two regimes coexisting

Module 6 of 9

GoalUnderstand what the reform changes in SAP's tax architecture and how to prepare the environment to run the current and the new regime at the same time, throughout the transition.

What you learn
  • CBS (the federal consumption tax) and IBS (the state and city consumption tax) as taxes that come to coexist with PIS, Cofins, ICMS and ISS in stages.
  • What must change in SAP: tax determination, calculation reports, master data, interfaces and fields that assume old formats, such as the numeric CNPJ (the Brazilian company tax ID).
  • How to think about coexistence: which operation pays which tax, and how to keep one regime from contaminating the calculation of the other.
  • How to build an adjustment plan by stage, with an owner, and how to follow the regulation without depending on the news.
Practice

The person receives the scenario of a company with operations in three states and a mix of products and services, and builds an impact map: what changes, in what order and who answers for each change.

Student deliverable

An impact map of the reform on an SAP environment, with adjustment order and owners.

Who else it helps

Tax, IT and finance managers who need to turn the reform into a work plan.

On the page on tax reform: the work of adapting SAP to CBS and IBS.

The path, modules 7 to 9

A big change, routine and the governance that stays

The three final modules teach how to get through a change, sustain the day after and leave a structure that survives a change of people.

Prepare

Migration to S/4HANA and Clean Core

Module 7 of 9

GoalMove tax from one environment to the other without carrying over rules that have no owner, and apply the idea of Clean Core to what is tax.

What you learn
  • What an ECC to S/4HANA migration touches in tax: calculation schemas, Z rules, electronic documents, obligations and reports.
  • How to inventory what exists before migrating, and how to decide what stays, what changes and what is dropped.
  • Clean Core, the practice of keeping the S/4HANA core close to standard, without unnecessary customization, and how it applies to tax rules.
  • How to organize tests of the first close in the new environment, before the new environment goes into production.
Practice

The person receives the inventory of an ECC environment with Z rules and decides, rule by rule, whether to migrate it, replace it with standard or drop it, noting the criterion for each decision.

Student deliverable

A classified inventory of tax rules for migration, with the decision and criterion for each item.

Who else it helps

Integrators, migration project managers and tax process owners.

On the page on migration: the tax layer inside a migration project, and Clean Core applied to tax.

Prepare

Stabilization and continuous operation

Module 8 of 9

GoalGet through the first tax cycle after a big change and then keep the environment stable while legislation and team change.

What you learn
  • What to watch in the first close in production, and how to separate an incident from expected behavior.
  • AMS (Application Management Services), the continuous support of the environment: what to expect from it and how to measure whether it is working.
  • How to handle an exception requested in a hurry without turning it into hidden debt.
  • How to record what was adjusted in each cycle so that the next cycle starts where the previous one stopped.
Practice

The person receives the record of a close with five incidents and prioritizes by risk, separates what is an adjustment from what is a structural fix and writes the handover note for the next cycle.

Student deliverable

An incident prioritization plan and a handover note between cycles.

Who else it helps

Whoever supports the environment day to day, whether in the company or under a support contract.

On the page on stabilization: following the first cycle in production, and continuous governance. To decide how to contract support, see how to choose tax support in SAP.

Sustain

Building governance: owner, evidence and review

Module 9 of 9

GoalBring everything together into a governance structure that survives a change of people, and produce the final work of the program.

What you learn
  • A rule's governance record: purpose, owner, legal basis stated by the company, the test that validates it, evidence kept and the date of the next review.
  • How to build a review calendar that combines a change in legislation, the opening of a branch and the departure of a key person.
  • How to answer an audit question with what is stored, without rebuilding the history from memory.
  • How to present the state of governance to leadership in risk language, without going into technical operations.
Practice

The person builds the governance of three rules from the practical assessment scenario, with a complete record, test script, simulated evidence and review calendar.

Student deliverable

A governance package for three rules: records, tests, evidence and calendar.

Who else it helps

All profiles: this is the module in which each person takes the path to the environment where they work.

On the page on specialties: the set of SAP tax specialties at DFSpro.

i

You know the path. Now find where you fit in.

The order of the modules is the same for everyone, but each person's starting point is different. A short conversation shows what makes sense for your moment and what you already master. Tell us where you are and DFSpro replies with what applies to your case.

How you learn

Each module follows the same four-step cycle

The content changes from module to module. The working rhythm does not, so that attention stays on the subject and not on the format.

01

Scenario

The module opens with a tax situation described the way it arrives in real life: symptom, context and little information. You read it before hearing any explanation.

02

Concept

Only then comes the explanation of the mechanism: what SAP does, why it does it, where the decision is made. Theory comes in to solve the scenario, not to be memorized.

03

Practice

You work on the module's material: you classify, review, trace, prioritize or build. Making mistakes is part of the process and part of what is discussed.

04

Work product

Each module ends with a document you can reuse in your company: a map, a table, a script, a record.

Format, schedule and terms are agreed in a conversation with DFSpro.

The reasoning behind it

Why the path starts with the question and ends in the record

Most SAP tax courses teach screens and transactions. That is necessary but not enough: screens change between versions, and a person who only memorized the route loses their footing when the route changes.

The program teaches the reasoning that does not change. What is the path of the data? Who decided this rule? How do we prove it works? When will it be reviewed? This reasoning holds in ECC and in S/4HANA, with or without GUEPARDO Tax.

That is why the path ends in a record and a calendar, and not in a set of transactions. The record is the point where knowledge stops belonging to the person and starts belonging to the environment.

It also explains why the program is not a sequence of videos. Governance is learned by doing, by making mistakes in the scenario and correcting them, in an environment where a mistake does not yet cost a close.

The practical assessment

A piece of work on a tax scenario, assessed by written criteria

The assessment does not ask for memory. It asks you to do, in a scenario, what you would do in a company's environment.

Part 01

Read the scenario

You receive the description of an environment: operations, rules, symptoms and documents. Your first product is the map of the path of the tax in that environment.

→
Part 02

Find the weak point

You point out which rules have no owner, no evidence or no test, and classify the origin of each symptom.

→
Part 03

Propose the review

You write the change you would make, the test script and what would need to be kept as evidence.

→
Part 04

Build the governance

You produce the governance record for three rules and the review calendar, as if you were handing them to leadership.

What the assessment looks at

CriterionWhat is observedWhat shows it is solid
Reading the scenarioWhether the path of the tax was followed without skipping steps. Each decision appears with the place where it is made.
DiagnosisWhether the weak points were found and classified by the right origin.Symptom, origin and owner appear together.
Safety of the reviewWhether the proposed change can be tested before reaching production. The test script covers the new case and the cases that must not change.
JustificationWhether each decision has a stated reason. The reason can be read by someone who was not in the room.
GovernanceWhether the record withstands an audit question.Owner, evidence and review are filled in and consistent.
LimitsWhether the person recognizes what is not a technical decision.Questions of tax position are returned to the company.

The assessment has no numeric passing score. The result says what is solid, what is fragile and what deserves more study. Those who complete the four parts with the criteria met receive the completion certificate.

The certificate

What the certificate confirms and what it does not confirm

This is the part of the program that most needs careful reading. A certificate is only worth what it actually says.

What the certificate is

  • A certificate of completion of the DFSpro Program for SAP Tax Governance with GUEPARDO Tax, issued by DFSpro.
  • A record that the person went through the path and completed the practical assessment within the program's criteria.
  • A list of the competencies covered, written as demonstrated capabilities.
  • A DFSpro document about a DFSpro program, with the participant's name and the content studied.

What the certificate is not

  • It is not a certification of the GUEPARDO Tax product. The product belongs to NTT DATA.
  • It is not a certification from NTT DATA or SAP.
  • It carries no promised recognition by third parties, whether companies or bodies.
  • It does not promise a job, a position, a promotion or a raise.
  • It does not authorize the person to act as a channel or reseller of any product.

The program does not use the logo, materials, training environment or brand of NTT DATA or SAP as if they were its own. The names of the companies and products appear only to say what the path is about.

Why insist on this? Because a certificate that suggests more than it delivers harms the person who receives it. The person shows it, someone asks who certifies, and the honest answer is DFSpro. The program wants that answer to be enough because the content is good, and not because the name looks bigger than it is.

Anyone who needs an official product credential should go to whoever issues it. Anyone who wants to prove, to themselves and to the people they work with, that they learned to govern tax in an SAP environment will find here a program made for that.

How each profile gets value

The same path, four different uses

The base is the same for everyone. What changes is what you do with what you learned the following Monday.

ProfileModules that usually weigh mostWhat they do better afterwards
SAP consultant2, 3, 6 and 7Answer the client with method, separate what belongs to SAP, to the product and to the company, and propose a review with testing instead of an urgent patch.
Tax or accounting analyst1, 3, 4 and 5Trace a divergence to its origin, instead of fixing it in the file, and ask IT for the right change with the evidence in hand.
Tax, finance or project manager1, 6, 8 and 9See the state of the environment in risk language, prioritize what to review and assign owners.
IT and support2, 3, 7 and 8Change rules knowing what is at stake, test before production and keep a record of what was done.

The middle column is a reading guide. The program is one program, and completion requires the full practical assessment for all profiles.

The day after

What changes in the routine of whoever finishes

The program does not promise a business result, and no honest number exists that could. What it changes is your working repertoire, and this shows up in very small situations.

When a colleague asks why a tax is calculated a certain way, you go to the path of the tax and show it, instead of saying it has always been like that. When someone asks for an exception in a hurry, you ask who answers for it and when it will be reviewed, and you write that down before the exception goes in.

When the auditor or leadership asks whether a rule was validated, you open the record. When a document gets stuck, you follow the diagnostic script instead of trying to resend it. When the tax reform reaches the agenda, you have an impact map to start the conversation.

  • Your knowledge stops being only yours: it lives in records that other people read.
  • Your decisions come with the justification written next to the decision.
  • Your reviews reach production with a test and evidence.
  • Your conversations with leadership become about risk, not about transactions.

None of these items is a promise of results. They are changes in working habits, and that is what the practical assessment checks.

How to start

What happens after the first contact

Entry is by conversation, not by registration. These are the four moves, in the order they happen.

Step 01

You write

Through the contact form or at comercial@dfspro.com.br, saying who you are, where you work and what you expect from the program.

→
Step 02

DFSpro replies

With questions about your experience in SAP tax, to see whether the program is the right path now.

→
Step 03

Direct conversation

Format, schedule and terms are agreed with you, according to your profile and the moment your team is in.

→
Step 04

Start of the path

Once what needs to be agreed is agreed, the path starts with module 1, and the first scenario reaches your hands.

If the program does not suit your moment, you hear that in the reply, with a pointer to what to study first.

i

Structured program or tailored training

This is the program: one path, the same for everyone taking part, with a practical assessment and a completion certificate. If what your company needs is to train the team on its own environment, tailored training for teams is the way. The two can complement each other, and the first conversation helps you choose.

Frequently asked questions

Questions from people thinking about joining

01Is the certificate a certification from GUEPARDO Tax, NTT DATA or SAP?+

No. The certificate is issued by DFSpro and records that the person completed the path and the practical assessment of the program. It is not a product certification, it is not from NTT DATA and it is not from SAP. GUEPARDO Tax is a product of NTT DATA, and the program does not use the logo, materials or training environment of either company.

02Who issues the certificate and what does it record?+

DFSpro. The document carries the list of competencies covered by the modules and the practical assessment, written as capabilities the person demonstrated, for example interpreting the path of a tax in SAP or documenting a rule with an owner and evidence. Issuing details are agreed in the first conversation.

03Does the certificate help me get a job, a position or a promotion?+

DFSpro does not promise that. The certificate confirms what was studied and demonstrated in the program, and its value for a hire or a career depends on whoever reads it. What the program concretely delivers is what you can do afterwards, and the work products you produced along the way.

04Does the certificate authorize me to act as a channel or reseller of any product?+

No. The certificate is a training record and has no effect on channel, resale or representation of any product. It confirms what the person studied and demonstrated in the program, and nothing more.

05Do I need prior experience to take the program?+

Yes. The prerequisite is experience in SAP tax: having dealt, in operations, consulting or IT, with invoices, taxes, close or ancillary obligations inside SAP. The program does not teach what an ERP is or what a tax is. It starts from there.

06Do I need GUEPARDO Tax installed in my company?+

No. GUEPARDO Tax is the reference product of the path because it organizes tax calculation inside SAP in many companies, but much of the content, such as master data, electronic documents, ancillary obligations and governance, applies to any SAP tax environment. Those who do not use the product learn how it works and what changes when it comes in.

07Does the program work for ECC and for S/4HANA?+

It works for both. ECC is the previous version of SAP's ERP and S/4HANA is the current version. The path treats tax as a discipline that crosses both and dedicates a whole module to the move from one to the other.

08Does the program teach the tax position?+

No. The path teaches how SAP turns a tax decision into a rule, how to record that rule and how to prove it does what is expected. The decision about which interpretation to adopt stays with the company and with its legal and tax support.

09What is the practical assessment?+

It is a piece of work applied to a tax scenario in SAP, in which the person reads the path of a tax, identifies what is fragile in the setup, proposes a review with a test and builds the rule's governance record: owner, evidence and review date. It is not a multiple-choice test.

10How is the practical assessment evaluated?+

By criteria described in advance: whether the reading of the scenario is correct, whether the proposed review is safe and testable, whether the justification holds up and whether the governance built withstands an audit question. There is no numeric passing score. The evaluation says what is solid and what needs more study.

11What is the difference between this program and tailored training for teams?+

Tailored training starts from a company's real environment and trains its team. This program is a structured path, the same for everyone taking part, with a practical assessment and a completion certificate. Whoever needs to train the team on its own environment should look at tailored training.

12Does the program use NTT DATA or SAP training material or environments?+

No. The materials, scenarios and exercises belong to DFSpro. Product names appear only to identify what is being discussed.

13Does the program imply any link between DFSpro and NTT DATA or SAP?+

The program is an initiative of DFSpro. About the other companies, the one fact that matters here is this: GUEPARDO Tax is a product of NTT DATA. Any information about the product, support or conditions of GUEPARDO Tax should be sought from NTT DATA.

14Is the program in person or online? What are the course hours and schedule?+

Format, schedule and other conditions are agreed in a direct conversation with DFSpro, according to your profile and the moment your team is in. Ask for the conversation and tell us where you are.

15How much does it cost to take part?+

The terms, including commercial ones, are handled in a direct conversation. Write through the contact form or to comercial@dfspro.com.br and tell us who would take part.

16Can I take part as a tax analyst, a manager or from IT, or only as a consultant?+

All of those profiles. The path has the same base for everyone, and the section on how each profile gets value from the program shows what changes in practice. The condition is prior experience in SAP tax.

17What changes in my routine after finishing?+

You gain a method and a set of work products you use day to day: the map of the path of a tax, a rule's governance record, the test script, the evidence record. The program does not promise a business result. It promises that you know how to do these things, and the practical assessment shows it.

18How do I start?+

Through contact. You tell us your profile, your experience in SAP tax and what you expect from the program. DFSpro replies with what applies to your case. The first conversation does not oblige anyone to anything. Start here.
