Tools for SAP tax work: look up, check, plan and compare
Four tools that run in the browser. The CST and cClassTrib table lists the 173 IBS and CBS codes published by the tax authority. The readiness checklist has 79 items in 11 themes. The tax deadline dashboard builds the due dates for your case, with the source of each date. The module picker shows which GUEPARDO module meets each need.
The table and the checklist serve the SAP project: what the document reports and what is left to prove. The dashboard and the module picker serve planning: the deadlines of the month and the GUEPARDO modules.
Choose the tool by your role
Four roles, four paths to the section you need.

Four tools, four questions and the decision that stays with the client
The table says which code the invoice may carry. The checklist says what SAP still has to prove. The dashboard shows what is due and how far to trust each date. The module picker shows what each GUEPARDO module covers. None of them decides the tax thesis: that decision belongs to the company.
Lookup
Search by code, description term or LC 214 article and filter by CST, tax, validity, rate and document.
Checking
Each item is marked only after it is seen in the system, with evidence kept, and the result appears by theme and overall.
Official source
The codes and reductions come from the National NF-e Portal. The checklist items cite the rule when they depend on it.
Privacy
Searches and marks stay in your browser. DFSpro receives nothing.
What the company does with the result follows the path of tax setup and of tax testing.
Pick the tool and open the page
Each card shows the size of the tool and what it delivers.
CST and cClassTrib table
- Look up the official IBS and CBS codes with reduction, validity and LC 214 article.
- Filter by CST, tax, status, rate type and tax document.
- Export the result to CSV to take to the setup.
Tax readiness checklist
- Check SAP tax item by item, from master data to governance, with the rule behind each point.
- See how much has been proven by theme and overall.
- Print, save as PDF or copy the result. Nothing leaves the browser.
Tax deadline dashboard
- Select states and obligations and read on one screen what is due and what is coming.
- Check the source and the confidence level of each date.
- Export to .ics or CSV. Nothing leaves the browser.
Which GUEPARDO module
- Tick the needs of the operation and read the module that the public description from NTT DATA points to.
- See the minimum combination of modules and what falls outside the portfolio.
- Copy, download as CSV or print. Nothing leaves the browser.
The dashboard uses the data from the tax calendar, where each deadline has a rule and an official source.
The project situation and the tool that helps
Nine common situations and the path for each one.
| Situation | Tool | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You are going to set up CST and cClassTrib for the operations | CST and cClassTrib table | It shows the valid codes and the reduction of each one, so the company can decide which to use. |
| An invoice came out with a code nobody recognizes | CST and cClassTrib table | The search by code shows the name, the validity and the LC 214 article behind it. |
| A new version of the table came out on the NF-e Portal | CST and cClassTrib table | The version in use is shown on the page, and the validity filter separates what started or ended. |
| You are going to open a tax project or a change round | Readiness checklist | It gives the list of what to check and shows by theme where most points lack proof. |
| You need to prepare cutover and go-live | Readiness checklist | The testing and cutover themes bring the cutover plan, opening balances, inventory and go and no-go criteria. |
| You need to show the audit what was checked | Readiness checklist | The printed or copied result records what was marked, with owner and date. |
| You need to know what is due this month, by state and obligation | Tax deadline dashboard | It shows the due dates with the source and the confidence level. The context of each obligation is in the tax calendar. |
| You are comparing the GUEPARDO modules | Which GUEPARDO module | It matches what the operation needs to do against the public description from NTT DATA and points to the module. |
| You only want a quick read, without checking item by item | Readiness assessment | It has 10 questions about symptoms in the operation, with an assessment on screen. |
Six steps, from the checklist to the proven document
The order is usually the same in any SAP tax project.
- 01
Check the starting point
The checklist shows by theme what the team has already proven and what is missing.
- 02
Decide the code for each operation
The company chooses the CST and the cClassTrib based on the table and on LC 214.
- 03
Configure SAP
The determination of the code and its validity go into the setup.
- 04
Prove with test documents
The generated document carries the expected code, and the result is kept as evidence.
- 05
Reopen when the table changes
The new version of the table is compared with the one the system uses.
- 06
Repeat the checklist
At each project phase, the items are checked again and the result is recorded.
The decision in step 02 belongs to the company. The work of steps 03 and 04 appears in SAP tax setup and SAP tax testing.
The 18 CST and how many codes each one has
Version v1.70 of the table, published on 01/10/2026 by the National NF-e Portal, holds 173 cClassTrib codes.

011 | Taxation with reduced uniform rates | 5 |
200 | Reduced rate | 56 |
220 | Fixed rate | 3 |
222 | Tax base reduction | 1 |
221 | Proportional fixed rate | 4 |
400 | Exemption | 4 |
410 | Immunity and non-incidence | 38 |
510 | Deferral | 1 |

811 | Adjustments | 3 |
820 | Taxation on a specific document | 9 |
830 | Tax base exclusion | 1 |
The 18 CST add up to 173 cClassTrib codes. The largest groups are 200 (reduced rate), 410 (immunity and non-incidence) and 550 (suspension). The full text of each code, with filters, is in the tool CST and cClassTrib table.
Six codes from the table, with the reduction and the basis
Each row has a code, CST, name, rate type, IBS and CBS reduction, validity and the LC 214 provision.
000001 CST 000
Situations fully taxed by IBS and CBS. IBS reduction 0% and CBS reduction 0%. Rate type: standard. This is the full taxation code.
011002 CST 011
Health care plans. IBS reduction 60% and CBS reduction 60%. Rate type: national uniform (reference). Basis: art. 237 of LC 214.
200003 CST 200
Sale of food for human consumption (Annex I). IBS reduction 100% and CBS reduction 100%. Rate type: standard. Basis: art. 125 of LC 214.
550001 CST 550
Exports of physical goods. IBS reduction 0% and CBS reduction 0%. Rate type: no rate. Basis: art. 82 of LC 214.
620001 CST 620
Monophasic taxation on fuels. IBS reduction 0% and CBS reduction 0%. Rate type: sectoral uniform. Basis: art. 172 of LC 214.
220001 CST 220
Code for real estate developments under the special regime. IBS reduction 0% and CBS reduction 0%. Rate type: fixed. Validity ends on 01/01/2026.
Of the 173 codes, 26 carry a 100% reduction in IBS and CBS. By rate type, 89 have no rate, 64 are standard, 8 are sectoral uniform, 7 are fixed and 5 are national uniform (reference). The number is the reduction foreseen in the code, not the rate the operation actually pays.
79 items in 11 themes, from master data to governance
Each theme has six to ten items, and each item says what must be seen in the system.
| Theme | Items | What it checks | Where to go deeper |
|---|---|---|---|
| Registration and master data | 8 | Partners, materials, establishments, CNPJ with letters and the IBS and CBS tax classification. | Tax master data |
| Tax setup | 9 | Determination matrix, rates with validity, benefits, PIS and Cofins in the transition and CBS and IBS in 2026. | Tax setup |
| Electronic tax documents | 10 | Obligation to issue, reform layout, issuance by operation type, rejection, events, NFS-e and contingency. | Electronic tax documents |
| Tax assessment | 6 | Period, separate IBS and CBS balances, adjustments and reversals, taxable event and reproduction of the assessment. | Tax assessment |
| Credits and balances | 7 | Conditions to take credit, operations without the right to credit, deadline, refund and presumed credit on inventory. | Tax credit recovery |
| Split payment and payment | 7 | Ways to extinguish the debt, link between invoice and payment, payment methods and balance reconciliation. | Split payment |
| Ancillary obligations | 7 | Filing calendar, EFD validation, reconciliation with the assessment, Reinf, DeRE, correction and retention. | SPED and ancillary obligations |
| Transition from 2026 to 2033 | 7 | Validity calendar in the system, 2027 and 2028 parameters, Selective Tax, IPI and the reduction of ICMS and ISS. | Tax reform: CBS and IBS |
| Testing | 6 | Case matrix, regression, end-to-end, volume, comparison with real data and the switch from 2026 to 2027. | Tax testing |
| Cutover | 6 | Cutover plan, freeze, master data load, opening balances, inventory and go and no-go criteria. | Tax rollout |
| Governance | 6 | Owner per rule, change flow, tracking of rules, audit trail and record of the tax decision. | Tax governance |
The result shows, by theme and overall, how many points were proven. This number does not measure readiness: the assessment belongs to the company's tax lead, with the evidence in hand. Each item points to the rule and the deadline it relies on, so the team can check the official text.
Ready for IBS and CBS: what to prove in your environment and what the list does not prove
Ticking the 79 checklist items records what the team checked. It does not prove that SAP calculates, shows and posts correctly. The difference between a list and proof decides what to do at each milestone of the calendar.
Prove it with a real document
For each regime the company operates under, pick a real operation and follow it from order to posting. Write down the expected result before running the test and keep the comparison. Correct configuration without a tested document is still a hypothesis.
Prove what 2026 already asks for
The 2026 test phase has CBS at 0.9% and IBS at 0.1%, and what is paid offsets the contributions due in the period (EC 132, ADCT, art. 125; LC 214, arts. 343, 346 and 348). Whoever meets the ancillary obligations is released from paying, under art. 348, § 1, of LC 214. Our guidance: prove the calculation, the display and the posting of both, because 2027 starts from what the environment already records.
Know what the list does not reach
The checklist does not test your real master data, the integrations with the issuer and the bank, the volume of the close or what a third-party product delivers. It also does not follow the rules by itself: repeat the check when a rule or the configuration changes.
Decide with evidence
Only count a point as proven with dated evidence and an owner. An item without proof becomes a pending issue, with a deadline to close it. Moving ahead or waiting is a decision for the company's tax lead, not for the consultant.
Split payment follows the same criterion. LC 214 leaves the gradual implementation to a joint act of CGIBS and RFB (art. 35, § 2). Prove what the act defines for your environment, not an assumed date.

The tax authority publishes the table, the client chooses the code and the system is the proof
What DFSpro does
- Configures in SAP the rule that determines the CST and the cClassTrib already decided by the company.
- Proves with test documents what the system records and keeps the evidence.
- Compares what the system records with the version of the table the company uses.
- Takes the checklist items that do not close into the project work plan.
What stays with the client
- The choice of the code for each operation and the reading of LC 214.
- The readiness assessment, which the checklist does not do by itself.
- Legal opinion on the rules that leave doubt.
- Approving the result and answering to the tax authority for it.
Our work is to configure the system and prove in testing what it does. The tax decision always belongs to the client. The tools show what the official rule says and what is left to prove, and they do not indicate the code or the thesis the company should adopt.

Frequently asked questions about the tax tools
Choose the tool4 questions, 01 to 04
01Which tool do I use first?+
It depends on the question. To know which code the tax document may carry, the CST and cClassTrib table. To know what SAP still has to prove before go-live or the close, the checklist. In a new project, the checklist comes first, and the table comes in when you configure the codes. To see what is due and from which source, the tax deadline dashboard. To compare GUEPARDO modules, the module picker.
02Do the tools replace consulting or a legal opinion?+
No. The table reproduces what the National NF-e Portal publishes and the checklist organizes what to check in the system. The choice of the code for each operation, the reading of LC 214 and the readiness assessment are decisions for the company, with its accountant and its legal team.
03Who in the company should use the table and who should use the checklist?+
The table serves the tax team and SAP IT, who decide and configure the codes. The checklist serves whoever coordinates: tax management, project management, accounting and audit, because each item has room for an owner and a date.
04Do I need to install anything or register?+
The four tools work on the page itself, in the browser. The marks in the checklist, the dashboard and the module picker stay only in the browser of the computer in use, and the table search runs on the page, with no data sent.
CST and cClassTrib table6 questions, 05 to 10
05What are CST and cClassTrib?+
Each item of the tax document carries the Tax Situation Code (CST), 3 digits, in field UB13 of the layout, and the Tax Classification Code (cClassTrib), 6 digits, in field UB14. The CST indicates the type of taxation of the item and the cClassTrib details the situation within the CST, with the matching LC 214 provision.
06Where do the 173 codes come from and what is the version?+
From the IBS and CBS Tax Classification Table, under Technical Notice 2025.002 v1.70, published on 01/10/2026 on the National NF-e Portal. It holds 18 CST and 173 cClassTrib codes.
07Does the table change? How do I follow it?+
It does. The National NF-e Portal listed 11 publications of the table, from 07/12/2024 to 01/10/2026, and each new version comes out as a Technical Notice. The tool shows the version in use, and it is worth comparing that version with the one the system applies at each update.
08Does the table tell me which code to use in my operation?+
No. It shows the codes that exist, the reduction of each one and the LC 214 article. Which code applies to each operation is a decision for the company and its accountant. After the decision, DFSpro configures SAP to apply it and proves the result in testing.
09Is the reduction in the table the rate I will pay?+
No. The table gives the IBS and CBS reduction percentage foreseen for the code, where 0% is no reduction and 100% is full reduction. The effective rate depends on the rate of the operation, on the transition and on other factors that the table does not calculate.
10What does ended validity mean?+
In v1.70, all the codes are valid from 01/01/2026, and three (220001, 220002 and 220003) end on that same date. The status filter separates the codes in force, the ended ones and those that have not started yet, as of today.
Readiness checklist5 questions, 11 to 15
11What does the checklist measure?+
It measures how many check points the team has already proven in the system, by theme and overall. It does not measure readiness: marking an item means the behavior was seen in SAP and the evidence was kept. Whether the company is ready or not is judged by the company's tax lead.
12How many items are there and what are the themes?+
There are 79 items in 11 themes: Registration and master data (8), Tax setup (9), Electronic tax documents (10), Tax assessment (6), Credits and balances (7), Split payment and payment (7), Ancillary obligations (7), Transition from 2026 to 2033 (7), Testing (6), Cutover (6), Governance (6).
13Are my marks saved?+
They are saved only in the browser and on the computer where they were made. DFSpro does not receive what you mark. To keep them elsewhere, the checklist can be printed, saved as PDF or copied as a result.
14Does the checklist certify that the company is ready for the reform?+
No. It organizes the check and points to where there are points without proof. Whoever judges whether the company is ready is the client's tax lead. For a quick read, without going item by item, the readiness assessment page has 10 questions about the operation and answers on screen.
15Can I use the checklist in an internal audit?+
Yes, as a script: each item has room for an owner and a date, and the result by theme shows where evidence is missing. The record of the evidence itself, such as an extract, a test document or a report, is kept by the company.
Hiring and limits3 questions, 16 to 18
16Does DFSpro configure SAP from the result of the tools?+
Yes, after the client's decision. DFSpro designs and configures in SAP the behavior the company decided on, such as the determination of the CST and the cClassTrib, and proves with test documents what the system records.
17How do the tools connect to tax testing?+
The chosen code becomes the expected value of a test case, and the test document shows what SAP recorded. The checklist, in turn, has a theme just for testing, with a case matrix, regression and end-to-end testing.
18How do I ask for help with a specific item or code?+
Write through the contact page with the checklist item or the table code and say where it weighs on SAP: master data, calculation, document or file. After the first contact, it becomes clear whether the path is diagnostic, setup or testing.
Take the item that does not close to SAP
Bring the table code or the checklist item that weighs most on your project. We talk about the SAP point the item touches and about how to configure and prove it.
