GUEPARDO Global Trade: foreign trade built into SAP, what NTT DATA publishes and what you need to prove
GUEPARDO Global Trade is the NTT DATA product for foreign trade with SAP, with 12 modules. Here is what NTT DATA publishes about each one, with the source and the date it was read, where each module meets your SAP, and the questions a buyer should ask.
According to NTT DATA, Global Trade was developed by Conexos and is offered in partnership with NTT DATA. DFSpro sells it as an Authorized Channel. Customs rules, customs regime and tax position are decisions for your company.

An NTT DATA product for foreign trade, and decisions that stay yours
According to NTT DATA, GUEPARDO Global Trade is a foreign trade management platform integrated with SAP, with 12 modules that run from the purchase order abroad to FX and document storage.
What it is
An NTT DATA product, which it describes as natively integrated with SAP. It brings together import, export, customs clearance, special regimes, invoicing, costs, FX and documents. What follows is what NTT DATA publishes, with the date it was read.
What it is not
It is not customs law, which belongs to Siscomex and the Federal Revenue Service. It is not GUEPARDO e-Invoicing, which is described separately, and it is not GUEPARDO Tax. No product decides tax classification, customs value or regime for you.
Where DFSpro comes in
We specialize in tax in SAP and in GUEPARDO Tax: we design, configure and prove how your SAP behaves around foreign trade.
How NTT DATA describes Global Trade, in four points
A summary of what the product page says, followed by the date it was read.
One platform
NTT DATA talks about business management natively integrated with SAP, bringing the management and operational needs of foreign trade into one place.
What it tracks
According to NTT DATA, the user tracks ships, containers and cargo, makes payments, posts invoices, calculates tax benefits and manages the documents received and issued.
What it covers
International purchases and sales, direct or on behalf of third parties, and special customs regimes. The modules come in the next sections.
How it is delivered
The page speaks of a scalable platform that adapts its infrastructure to demand. How this fits with the customer's SAP, the page does not say.
Read on 16/10/2026 from NTT DATA's public material on the product and on the 12 modules. The texts carry no publication date and may change.
Four profiles that NTT DATA points to, and the question each one brings one
The same platform serves whoever imports, exports, clears goods or invoices. Each one arrives with a different doubt.
| Profile | Who they are | The question they bring |
|---|---|---|
| Importers | Importers, trading companies and distributors. | Does the product follow my move from DI to Duimp, and how does the result reach the inbound invoice? |
| Exporters | Industry, agribusiness and export trading companies. | Does the product control the flow from order to export endorsement, and who registers the DU-E, the product or my customs broker? |
| Customs clearance | Customs brokers and consultancies, which NTT DATA lists as audiences for clearance. | How are access, power of attorney and proof of who entered what handled? |
| Invoicing and payments | Tax, finance and accounting teams of companies running on SAP. | Which document, cost and FX data return to SAP, in what format and with what check? |
NTT DATA also lists logistics and services among its segments. The list covers segments, not coverage by operation.
Export, import and customs clearance: what each module does and where it meets SAP
The three modules of the customs process, from order to clearance. What NTT DATA describes is attributed to it.
Export
What it does. According to NTT DATA, it controls the flow from receiving the goods to delivery abroad: opening the process, booking space, packing list, bill of lading, sending documents and shipping invoices.
Who it is for. Those who export their own or purchased products.
How it enters SAP. SAP holds the order, invoice and cost. The shipment and the DU-E stay in the module and with the declarant, and the return must come back to SAP. The rule is in DU-E, endorsement and proof of export.
What DFSpro does. Designs the endorsement return, configures the export invoice and proves that it matches.
Who decides. The customer: how the operation is classified and who registers the DU-E.
Import
What it does. It controls the flow from the purchase order abroad to delivery to the customer: proforma, invoice, shipments, bill of lading, advances, cost and accounting of expenses, with follow-up of licenses and declarations in Siscomex.
Who it is for. Trading companies, importers, customs brokers and freight agents.
How it enters SAP. The link is the inbound invoice and the cost. Values by item, declaration number and date must arrive intact, or the bookkeeping does not close.
What DFSpro does. Designs the data path, configures the inbound invoice and proves the reconciliation with the declaration.
Who decides. The customer: classification, customs value and choice of customs broker.
Customs Clearance
What it does. It says it uses operational data for clearance and turns the paperwork into a check. It mentions in-house clearance or clearance with an outside broker. Customs inspection, in the legal sense, is an act of the Federal Revenue Service.
Who it is for. Importers, exporters, trading companies and customs brokers.
How it enters SAP. SAP does not run the clearance: it consumes the result, with number, registration date, channel, taxes by item and proof of payment.
What DFSpro does. Designs what SAP receives from clearance and proves that the return matches.
Who decides. The customer and the registered customs broker, who answer for the declared information.
Drawback, robots and portal: NTT DATA's description and what SAP
Three control and tracking modules. Each block ends with who decides.
| Module | What it does and who it is for | How it enters SAP | What DFSpro does | Who decides |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Drawback | According to NTT DATA, it controls the concession act and Integrated Drawback: deadlines, balance of taxes to be cleared, reports and clearance reports, linking purchases to the act number. Who it is for: Export industries, customs brokers and consultancies. | Balance by item of the act and clearance usually need control beyond standard SAP. The purchase invoice and the endorsed DU-E must point to the same act. | Designs how SAP stores invoice, batch and balance and proves the reconciliation. It does not request the act or sign the report. | The customer: type of drawback, equivalence and technical coefficient. See special regimes. |
| Robots | According to NTT DATA, they query government systems at set times, read cargo, declarations and licenses and alert analysts. They register in Siscomex when the user authorizes it. Who it is for: Those whose volume makes manual queries costly. | The process status needs to reach SAP. Whether by query or by notice from the agency, NTT DATA does not say. | Designs where the status enters SAP and how to prove it. Our own work on the robots is not documented and is not promised. | The credential holder: access, power of attorney and what the robot may register. |
| Follow-up WEB | A portal where the customer's customer follows processes, deadlines and document copies and sends digital data, according to NTT DATA. Who it is for: Those who report to the end customer, such as importers, exporters, service providers and trading companies. | It is a status window, not bookkeeping. What the portal shows must be what SAP records. | Proves that the status shown and the status posted in SAP are the same. | The customer: who sees what, and the personal data exposed, under LGPD (Brazil's data protection law). |
NF-e, billing and contract: where the product meets the tax side of SAP
These three modules touch the document and the tax. The check against SAP is the most sensitive point of the evaluation.
NF-e
What it does. According to NTT DATA, it issues import and export NF-e from the DI or from the order, stores the XML, sends XML and DANFE by email and handles the acknowledgment of invoices issued against the company.
Who it is for. Those who issue and receive invoices in foreign trade operations.
How it enters SAP. This is where the product meets SAP's tax side and e-Invoicing. NTT DATA does not say whether it serves the inbound invoice, the outbound invoice or both, or whether it uses the same engine. Ask.
What DFSpro does. Designs the ICMS base and the document in SAP and proves the bookkeeping.
Who decides. The customer: the ICMS position on imports and the acknowledgment of each invoice. The invoice rule is in Ajuste SINIEF 07/05.
Billing
What it does. According to NTT DATA, it generates product and service invoices from the DI and the expenses, communicates with SEFAZ (the state tax authority) and sends XML and DANFE. It mentions tax configuration integrated with consulting sites.
Who it is for. Those who bill services and products in foreign trade operations, such as trading companies and customs brokers.
How it enters SAP. The tax on the invoice comes from the setup. If the module calculates outside SAP, the two calculations must agree. The module text, on 16/10/2026, does not mention CBS or IBS. Ask NTT DATA whether the product handles them. See tax setup.
What DFSpro does. Configures the tax setup in SAP and proves the result against the module's result.
Who decides. The customer: the tax treatment. Automatic configuration is not a tax decision.
Contract
What it does. According to NTT DATA, it handles contracts with customers and suppliers: profitability by contract, amendments and deadlines with alerts, contracted budget and scheduled billing.
Who it is for. Service providers and those who control import and export contracts.
How it enters SAP. It is the module furthest from tax. Where the contract generates billing, the timing of the tax must be clear in SAP. See tax reform, CBS and IBS.
What DFSpro does. Designs the timing of the tax in SAP billing and proves it.
Who decides. The customer: the rule for recognizing and billing the contract.
Costs, FX and documents: what NTT DATA describes and what is left to you
The last three modules, which complete the twelve. The risk here is to conclude that something is covered from what the page does not say.
| Module | What it does and who it is for | How it enters SAP | What DFSpro does | Who decides |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cost sheet | According to NTT DATA, it simulates import and export costs by NCM (Mercosur product code) before opening the process, compares scenarios and generates a commercial proposal. Who it is for: Those who need to predict cost before buying or selling. | The estimated cost must agree with what SAP builds on the inbound invoice. The module text does not mention AFRMM (merchant marine freight surcharge), the Siscomex fee or cost allocation on 16/10/2026, and the omission does not prove coverage. See customs value. | Proves the estimated cost against the cost posted in SAP, item by item. | The customer: the assumptions for tax rate, FX and allocation. |
| Trade Finance | According to NTT DATA, it controls FX and financing: FX contract, FINIMP and REFINIMP, letter of credit, hedge and FX variation integrated with accounting. Who it is for: The finance team of mid-size and large companies with advanced FX. | SAP accounting must receive the FX variation under the same rule. NTT DATA does not say whether the module sends the declaration to Bacen (the Central Bank) or only controls it. Ask. | Designs the accounting return and proves the balance. It does not provide FX services. | The customer, the bank and the accountant: declaration to Bacen, hedge and accounting recognition. See FX, cost and reconciliation. |
| GED | According to NTT DATA, it manages documents in the cloud with versioning, access by profile and receipt of files by robots that monitor email inboxes. Who it is for: All modules that generate documents. | Storing XML and tax documents has its own deadline and rules. The module text does not mention ICP-Brasil, retention period or LGPD on 16/10/2026: do not assume. See XML retention. | Designs the link between the document and the SAP posting and proves recovery. | The customer: retention period, disposal and who has access. |
Four numbers from NTT DATA, and how to read them without mixing up the measures
Four numbers that look like the same kind and are not. None of them is a DFSpro measurement.
Up to 70% of processes
A claim about process automation in the international market, with the words "up to". The page does not publish the method.
More than 60 robots
It is a count of robots, not a percentage of anything. Another NTT DATA page gives a different number of robots, with no published reconciliation.
At least 40% fewer interventions
It refers to customs clearance and repetitive manual interventions, not the whole process.
Automatic entry of 60% of the data
It refers to what the robots enter. It is not the same 60 as the number of robots.
These are marketing numbers, with different measures, and they are neither added up nor turned into a target. The module pages carry other percentages, which we do not use. Ask for the method in writing and prove it in your own process.
NTT DATA product page, read on 16/10/2026.
Robots: NTT DATA's description and the agency's rule, side by side
The rule on limits, authentication and representation belongs to the agency, and it changes. The product description belongs to NTT DATA. Both side by side.
According to NTT DATA, on 16/10/2026
- Robots with scheduled queries to the product catalog, licenses, Duimp, DI and cargo control, among others.
- For cargo, a periodic read that it suggests every 3 hours.
- Registration in Siscomex when the user authorizes it.
- License with no extra cost per query, according to the page itself.
What the agency records (official source, read on 16/10/2026)
- The Siscomex page announces a limit of 1,000 automated queries to Duimp per hour, per user (published on 02/10/2026).
- It recommends checking the date of the last change first, and the Single Portal offers event notification.
- Access belongs to a qualified person or company, with representation when acting for another (Integra COMEX service).
Whether a read suggested every 3 hours fits within the agency's limit depends on how many processes your company queries. "No cost per query" applies to the product license and does not change the agency's limit. The credential holder answers for what the robot registers.
What changes when you evaluate a foreign trade product while the schedule has 28 versions
The official date moves. A product evaluated today needs to say which version it was checked against.
The official shutdown schedule for Siscomex DI was published on 07/10/2025 and updated on 02/10/2026, and the page history lists 28 versions. The Duimp (Brazil's single import declaration) rollout schedule was updated on 16/10/2026 (Siscomex, read on 16/10/2026). The official page itself says that the dates take effect only after validations by the private sector. So every "ready for Duimp" promise from a product needs a version and a date.
For which version?
Which version of the schedule and on what date the module was checked, and who updates it when the official date changes.
What about an unavailable operation?
Siscomex keeps a list of operations still unavailable in Duimp. Ask how the product handles the ones that still go through LI and DI.
What about a correction?
How a corrected Duimp reaches the inbound invoice, and how the product keeps the current version of the declaration.
Third-party material, including NTT DATA's, carries the date of its own update: always check the official version of the day. The rule and the schedule are in Duimp: what the rule says and what the schedule has already shut down, and the clearance rule in the manuals of the Federal Revenue Service (16/10/2026).
What SAP delivers and what usually stays outside
Four meeting points between the product and the ERP, each with the question that decides the check.
The ERP holds the invoice, the cost and the posting. Concession act, balance by item, cargo status and FX usually stay in external control, and the return to SAP decides whether the bookkeeping closes.
| Meeting point | What usually stays where | The question that decides the check |
|---|---|---|
| Document | Invoice, cost, posting and bookkeeping stay in SAP. | Which declaration data reaches SAP, and with what check? |
| Balance | Concession act, balance by item and clearance usually stay in external control. | Where is the balance the source of truth, and how does SAP see it? |
| Status | Cargo, license and declaration are states held by the agency. | How does the status reach SAP, and who fixes it when it is wrong? |
| FX | FX contract, financing and variation belong to finance and the bank. | What goes back to accounting, and under which rule? |
Ten questions for NTT DATA before you sign
The questions the brochure does not answer, in order: five about the product and SAP, then five about robots, data and support.
- 01
Method behind the numbers
What is the method behind the published percentages?
- 02
SAP versions
Which SAP versions and editions does the product support?
- 03
Delivery model
What is the delivery model, cloud or installed, for each module?
- 04
Inbound or outbound invoice
Does the NF-e module serve the inbound invoice, the outbound invoice or both?
- 05
End of contract
What happens to access keys and history if the contract ends?
- 06
Change in agency rules
What does the product do when the agency changes a limit or an authentication rule?
- 07
Robot credentials
What credential and what representation do the robots use?
- 08
Agency status
How does the agency status reach SAP, by query or by notification?
- 09
Initial load
How is the initial load of concession acts and open FX contracts done?
- 10
Status correction
Who fixes the status when the one shown is wrong, and how fast?
Keep each answer in writing, with a name and a date, for the internal decision. Scope, availability and deadlines for each module depend on NTT DATA's answer.
Six scenarios to prove before you decide
Real proof uses your own operations, run in a test environment. A brochure proves nothing.
- 01
Import with a corrected Duimp
The corrected declaration reaches SAP, and the inbound invoice and cost follow the current version. Evidence: declaration extract against the invoice.
- 02
Export with an endorsed DU-E
The export invoice and the endorsement close in SAP, with the right date. Evidence: endorsed DU-E and posting.
- 03
Concession act with balance
Purchase and export clear the same act, and the balance matches by item. Evidence: clearance report and reconciliation.
- 04
Rejected import invoice
A deliberately wrong data point, to see which error comes back, on which screen it appears and who fixes it.
- 05
Agency failure
The query fails or the limit is reached, and the process does not lose its state. Evidence: record of the failure and of the restart.
- 06
Change of customs broker
Power of attorney, access and history stay intact in SAP and in the module. Evidence: who entered each data point, and when.
Each scenario closes only with attached evidence: document number, status, accounting entry and who did the check. The acceptance criteria for each scenario follow the design of tax testing in SAP.
Authorized sales channel, and the tax layer of SAP around foreign trade
In the SAP environment, our work covers design, configuration and proof. Product, scope and terms belong to NTT DATA.
As an Authorized Channel for selling GUEPARDO, DFSpro sells the license and handles governance, and the implementation scope for each Global Trade module is agreed in the commercial conversation. Our specialty is tax in SAP and in GUEPARDO Tax, but we also implement SAP, migrate systems and run rollouts. Our own work on the robots and on the foreign trade product is not documented and is not promised.
| What DFSpro delivers in SAP | What it is for | Where to go deeper |

Three roles, three responsibilities
To prove means to demonstrate the real behavior of the system. Accepting the result is up to the company.
According to NTT DATA, Global Trade was developed by Conexos and is offered in partnership with NTT DATA. Below is what NTT DATA publishes, summarized, with the source and the date it was read. Customs rules, regime and tax position belong to your team and your customs broker. On the SAP side, our job is to design, configure and demonstrate the system's behavior.
DFSpro designs and proves
- The foreign trade return in SAP.
- Each tested scenario, with its evidence.
- The state of SAP before and after each adjustment.
The company decides
- The customs and tax position and the regime.
- The type of drawback and what it declares to Bacen.
- The choice of customs broker and what differences it accepts.
NTT DATA answers
- The function of each module and the terms of use.
- The availability and the contracted scope.
- The support and the product versions.
How we work with your team is described in how we work with your team. For the overview of the other modules, see GUEPARDO modules and the tool which module fits your case.

Global Trade is a Conexos platform, offered with NTT DATA
What NTT DATA material says about the origin of the product, and the question this opens before you sign.
Who developed it
According to NTT DATA, Global Trade was developed by Conexos, which it describes as a leader among trading companies in Brazil, and is offered in partnership with NTT DATA.
How it appears in the brand
In the GUEPARDO identity material, the module is labeled Global Trade by Conexos, unlike the modules that carry only the GUEPARDO brand.
What NTT DATA promises
NTT DATA talks about automating up to 70% of international market processes. This is NTT DATA's claim, not measured by DFSpro, and the material gives no calculation criteria.
Question for NTT DATA
Ask in writing who answers for the contract, support and updates of the module: NTT DATA, Conexos or both, and how each one takes part in the service.
NTT DATA partner material on GUEPARDO, a presentation and an institutional folder, read on 22/10/2026. NTT DATA sets the terms, scope and ownership.
Frequently asked questions about GUEPARDO Global Trade
01Who develops Global Trade and who offers it?+
According to NTT DATA, the platform was developed by Conexos and is offered in partnership with NTT DATA, which owns GUEPARDO. Everything NTT DATA describes is attributed to it, and confirming ownership, scope and terms is up to NTT DATA.
02Which are the 12 modules NTT DATA lists?+
Export, Import, Customs Clearance, Drawback, Robots, Follow-up WEB, NF-e, Billing, Contract, Cost sheet, Trade Finance and GED. In the pages read on 16/10/2026 there is no official count of modules beyond this list.
03Does Global Trade cover Duimp, and where do I read the rule and the schedule?+
NTT DATA says it offers support and material on Duimp. The rule and the schedule belong to Siscomex and the Federal Revenue Service, and the DI shutdown schedule has 28 versions in a year, read on 16/10/2026. The rule is on the DFSpro foreign trade page.
04What does NTT DATA call robots, and which government systems do they query?+
According to NTT DATA, they are scheduled queries to the product catalog, licenses, Duimp, DI, cargo control and others. The query limit, authentication and representation are agency rules, which change, and apply to any system that queries the Single Portal.
05How should I read the numbers 70%, 40%, 60 robots and 60% of data?+
They are marketing claims, with different measures and no published method. Ask for the method in writing and prove it in your own process before using any of them as a target. None of them is a DFSpro measurement, and they do not add up.
06Does Global Trade issue import NF-e, and how is that separate from e-Invoicing?+
The Global Trade NF-e module and GUEPARDO e-Invoicing are described separately by NTT DATA. It cannot be said that they use the same engine. Ask which one covers your inbound invoice and which one covers the outbound.
07Does the Drawback module control the concession act? What does the customer decide?+
NTT DATA says it controls acts, deadlines and balances. Who requests, changes, extends and closes the act in the Secex system is the company. Type of drawback, equivalence and technical coefficient are the customer's decision, not the product's or DFSpro's.
08Trade Finance, FX and FINIMP: what does the module do and what is up to finance?+
According to NTT DATA, it handles FX, financing and FX variation. The declaration to Bacen and the accounting recognition belong to the customer and the bank. Ask whether the module sends the declaration or only controls it.
09Is Global Trade cloud or installed, according to NTT DATA?+
NTT DATA speaks of a scalable platform and of infrastructure that adapts to demand. The delivery model of each module and the SAP versions supported are not published in the pages read. Ask in writing and keep the answer.
10Can someone who uses an outside customs broker use the Customs Clearance module?+
NTT DATA lists customs brokers among the module's audiences. The declarant answers for the declared information, not the tool. Agree on power of attorney, access and proof of who entered each data point before going live.
11How does Global Trade work with SAP, according to NTT DATA, and what should I test?+
NTT DATA speaks of native integration with SAP, without detail. Test the document path, with invoice, cost and status, in a real process, in a test environment, and record the evidence. The product description does not do that job.
12Does DFSpro implement Global Trade?+
The implementation scope by module is agreed in the commercial conversation. Our own work on the robots is not documented. The decision on the customs operation always belongs to the customer.
